Mindful eating with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Course

This course is all about understanding why you are eating. Are you eating because you are hungry or are you eating because you are bord, sad, anxious, angry, depressed, lonely  or having other emotions. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) can help us to change our behaviours around our thinking and actions with food. It teaches us to understand ourselves better by observing our impulses and bad habits that are not serving our highest good.

When we observe ourselves we begin to understand our triggers and our automatic reactions to different situations both positive and negative. This course will teach you how to eat mindfully to understand your body and to nourish it according to its needs. We learn to confront the real issues and stop using food to numb our emotions. For many people this is the real solution to loosing weight permanently and leave behind the yo-yo dieting and destructive patterns from their past.

This course also incorporates mindfulness practice and is accompanied by a guide book for future reference.

Mindfulness and positive Psychology course.

Mindfulness has been used for thousands of years to help people to deal with the different experiences of life. It lowers stress levels and can help you deal better with negative thought patterns and helps you to break the chain of negative behaviours and thinking.

Positive psychology is the scientific study of human flourishing and is about recognising peoples strengths and teaching them from this place rather than pointing out their weaknesses. People make changes and adapt quicker when thought from a place of positivity and elevation. It has also been defined as the study of the strengths and virtues that enable individuals, communities and organisations to thrive.
